Terms of Use

Last updated 24 July 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MarkdownRender application ("the App"), published by Jerome Coloma ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

MarkdownRender is provided free of charge. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and these Terms.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except to the extent permitted by law; not to redistribute or resell the App; and not to use it for any unlawful purpose.

3. Your content

MarkdownRender is a reader and editor for files you already own. You retain all rights to your files and content. The App operates entirely on-device and transmits nothing, so we never access, store, or process your content.

4. Intellectual property

The App, its name, logo, and design are the property of Jerome Coloma and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the App at your own risk and are responsible for maintaining backups of your files.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Jerome Coloma be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

7. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory consumer rights you may have.
